“The best thing is that it’s hands on – really good!” Aged 16-25? Join Green Action in Falkirk!

Green Action, our outdoors employability programme to help young people unlock their full potential, starts in Falkirk this month!

We’re looking for 16-25 year olds who are not in employment, education or training to join our programme every Thursday for 12-weeks to learn practical skills outdoors, boost your CV and make new friends.

You’ll have the chance to earn a range of CV boosting awards and certificates including the John Muir Award, Saltire Award and Employability Award.

You’ll learn a whole range of skills from forestry and woodworking to conservation and basic construction.

The programme will run from Thursday September 21st, and we’ll be accepting applications up until this day – you can still join if you’ve missed the first week. Green Action is free to attend.

If Green Action sounds like it’s for you, please contact Carol Bell on carol@scottishwaterwaystrust.org.uk or 07769 303989.

This project is funded by Forestry Commission Scotland and the Yorkshire & Clydesdale Bank Foundation
