The Green Action Project will run again at The Falkirk Wheel, beginning on Thursday 12 January 2017. Since 2009 the project has provided around 400 unemployed 16-25 year olds with the chance to gain practical work experience whilst earning a variety of qualifications and awards to help improve their work and life opportunities.

What does Green Action offer?

Green Action is a 12-week skills training programme of conservation, forestry, landscaping and gardening tasks and activities (one day per week – Thursdays).You can gain:
Employability in the Outdoors Awards
John Muir Awards
Saltire Awards
Emergency First Aid Certificates

The project, made possible once again by Forestry Commission Scotland and Bank of Scotland Foundation, is a 12-week skills training programme of conservation, forestry, landscaping and gardening tasks and activities (one day per week – Thursdays).
We can also offer drop in support sessions once the programme has ended to help you decide what to do next.
